General Terms & Conditions
- Photographers, videographers, journalists, content creators and film crews who have a commission from a bona fide media outlet (print and/or digital) will be considered for accreditation.
- Only fully accredited media representatives will have access to the Media Centre. Accreditation numbers are limited and all applications will be assessed. Previous accreditation does not guarantee future approval.
- Accredited media must comply with the instructions and requests of the Event Organisers, Media Team and Stewards at all times.
- Submission of an accreditation application constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Any breach of these conditions may result in immediate withdrawal of accreditation, removal from the event grounds and exclusion from future
accreditation.
Photographers
- Photographers with a confirmed commission from a bona fide publication (print and/or digital) will be considered. Details of the publication, commissioning editor, email address and phone number must be provided in the application. Samples of published work may be requested.
- A maximum of one photographer per publication per day will be accredited.
- Valid Public Liability and Third-Party Liability insurance is mandatory. By accepting accreditation, photographers indemnify the organisers of the Longines Luhmühlen Horse Trials against any claims, costs or damages incurred by third parties.
- On cross-country day, photographer bibs (granting access to designated field-of-play areas) will be issued to accredited photographers.
- On show-jumping day, arena access is restricted. Only photographers with explicit permission may remain inside the arena, including prize-giving ceremonies. Other photographers will be allocated designated areas and must not obstruct spectators’ views.
- The use of drones is strictly prohibited at all times.
- Any photographer in breach of these conditions will have their accreditation revoked and may be excluded from future events.
Videographers / Content Creators
- Only accredited videographers and content creators are permitted to record video content at the Longines Luhmühlen Horse Trials.
- Accreditation does not grant permission to film live sporting action within the field of play.
- Any recording of sporting action requires prior written approval from the Event Organiser or the Media Team.
- Applicants must clearly state whom they represent (e.g. rider, brand, sponsor) when applying.
- All accredited videographers/content creators must attend a mandatory briefing, where they will be issued with a photographer bib. Only those wearing a bib are permitted to film.
- Valid Public Liability and Third-Party Liability insurance is mandatory. Accreditation implies indemnification of the event organisers against third-party claims.
- The use of drones is strictly prohibited.
- Any violation of these terms will result in withdrawal of accreditation and potential exclusion from future events.
