The CIC*** Meßmer Trophy winners are Julia Krajewski (GER) and Samourai du Thot

Julia Krajewski and Samurai du Thot not only win the three-star competition but also the national championship! They held onto their dressage score of 19.90 throughout the week. In second is Ingrid Klimke (GER) and SAP Hale Bob OLD (25.90) followed by Yoshiaki Oiwa (JPN) with The Duke Of Cavan (26.90) in third. Second and third in the German Championship are Ingrid Klimke (GER) and Bettina Hoy (GER).

Jonelle Price (NZL) wins DHL presents CCI****

Jonelle Price (NZL) and Faerie Dianimo (28.30) are the new CCI**** winners! Laura Collett (GBR) with Mr Bass (29.90) and Ros Canter (GBR) with Zenshera (29.90) follow in second and third.

CIC*** Meßmer Trophy – Julia Krajewski (GER) still in the lead

Julia Krajewski and Samurai du Thot held onto the lead after their flawless round of the three-star cross-country staying on their dressage score of 19.90. In second is Ingrid Klimke (GER) and SAP Hale Bob OLD (21.90) followed by Pietro Roman (ITA) with Barraduff (26.10) in third.

DHL presents CCI****: Boyd Martin in the lead after cross-country

Boyd Martin (USA) and Shamwari 4 (27.40) really delivered today. A clear round inside the optimum time moved them back to the top in front of Jonelle Price (NZL) and Faerie Dianimo (28.30) and Laura Collett (GBR) on Mr Bass (29.90).

Announcement Axel Z

It is with great sadness and regret that we announce that Chloe Raty (BEL) and Axel Z an 11-year old gelding had a fall at fence 18b, an upright, while competing in the CCI**** at Luhmühlen on 16 June 2018. The horse received immediate veterinary attention and was transported to the veterinary clinic. Unfortunately, spinal injuries were diagnosed and Axel Z sadly could not be saved. The rider was taken to hospital for thorough examination, which revealed no injuries.

DHL presents CCI**** - Bayro and Tim Lips in lead

After an exciting finish of today’s dressage, we have Tim Lips (NED) and Bayro with just 24.10 penalties in first, Jesse Campbell (NZL) with Cleveland (24.60) in second, followed by Shane Rose (AUS) on CP Qualified (25.50) in third place.

Julia Krajewski (GER) is overnight leader in the CIC*** Meßmer Trophy

With a brilliant dressage performance in today’s three-star competition, Julia Krajewski (GER) took the lead on Samourai du Thot with just 19.9 penalties. They are closely followed by Bettina Hoy (GER) and Designer 10 (21.2), and Ingrid Klimke (GER) with SAP Hale Bob OLD (21.9).

DHL presents CCI****: Kitty King and Boyd Martin in joined first

After day one in the four-star competition we have a joined first with Kitty King (GBR) on Ceylor L A N and Boyd Martin (USA) with Shamwari 4, both on 27.4 penalties. In third is Vittoria Panizzon (ITA) with Checkers Play the Game and 28.1.

Julia Mestern takes lead in CIC*** Meßmer Trophy

Julia Mestern (GER) and Grand Prix IWEST (26.2) went into the lead of today’s first part of the three-star dressage. Second lies Josefa Sommer with Hamilton 24 (26.8) before Pietro Sandei (ITA) on Rubis de Prere (27.9).

Trot up kicks off Luhmühlen

Luhmühlen’s four-star competition began with the first veterinary check this afternoon. Fifty-one horses were beautifully presented to the ground jury to receive their “accepted” in order to proceed to tomorrow’s dressage.

Ahead of the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, Luhmühlen’s entries promise exciting competitions. Sandra Auffarth, Ingrid Klimke and Andreas Dibowski are some of Germany’s top-class riders who are going to compete at Luhmühlen’s DHL presents CCI**** and the CIC*** Meßmer Trophy alongside outstanding eventers from twelve other countries.

The date for the FEI European Eventing Championships in Luhmühlen has been set

“It’s a gorgeous time of the year to host the Europeans in Luhmühlen as the Heather is in bloom in late August and will turn the landscape purple and green. Hopefully the weather will play along, too”, comments Luhmühlen’s Event Director Julia Otto.

The German venue of Luhmühlen has been allocated hosting rights to the FEI European Eventing Championships 2019.
